Photograph of the Chouara Tannery in Fes, Morocco. The Fes tanneries are considered a UNESCO heritage site for their continued traditional practices which stem from the 11th century. The tanneries continue to use natural dyes such as poppy (red), indigo (blue) and henna (orange). Taken in early 2019.

The photograph is printed on Fuji DP professional-grade paper with a Lustre finish. The print comes with a 5mm white border to help with transit and framing. If you would like an alternative finish or no border, please send a message via the Contact page before making your purchase.
